The Game
Laughing Moon Adventures invites you into the world of Mythren where you become the storyteller or create characters of your own choosing. This tabletop role-playing game is similar in style to Dungeons & Dragons, but offers its own unique setting, streamlined rules designed for narrative game play, and emphasizes the player’s ability to take their fate into their own hands during adventures.
The Setting
The world under the Laughing Moon has many things in common with other fantasy settings, but there is plenty to find that sets this world apart. It is a magical setting, filled danger and adventure, and a place where mortal ambition often collides with immortal desires.
The Author
Todd VanHooser has been creating the Laughing Moon world for almost thirty years, producing novels, short stories, comic books, and the tabletop role-playing game. He has been a guest at numerous conventions and events throughout the southwest and participated on many game design panels and fiction writing seminars. Currently, Todd is working on new stories and adventures for the Laughing Moon setting!
